“At Chrysalis I found out that the sky is indeed the limit."

I was born on the 29^th of June 1982 in Scotsdene, but have spent most of my life in Atlantis on the West Coast and I am the middle child of 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

I matriculated at Proteus Senior Secondary in 1999, I always wanted to go study but there was not enough funds to go futher my education, so I started working in a local factory in Atlantis. I worked there from 1999 till 2003, after which I completed my first year at Cape Technikon, again because of a lack of funds I could not go forward and complete my studies.

I heard about Chrysalis Academy, when I was attending a camp with some friends of mine, a gentleman came to inform us about the 3-month programme at Chrysalis Academy. I immediately wanted to be a part of everything that the programme offered. I got an application form from our local Chrysalis club in Atlantis and applied.

I arrived at Chrysalis Academy in June 2005 and completed 3 of the greatest months of my life. After finishing the course I got an Internship through the Tourism Lecturer at a company called Albatros Travel. After my three months of internship ended they decided to keep me on and I was promoted from a tour consultant to a Web Manager at Albatros.

I have recently completed my N4 and N5 office administration and is currently doing my N6 hoping to have my national diploma by the end of this year.
