Health care at Chrysalis Academy is rendered by a chief professional nurse and a medical assistant. According to the World Health Organization, health is defined as a state of complete physical, psychological and social wellbeing and not just the absence of a disease or infirmity. We at Chrysalis Academy strive to achieve that goal by rendering a comprehensive health care service. We do this by treating our students holistically as a multi disciplinary team which includes:

• Medical interviews prior to admission to the Academy to access medical fitness.
• Physical examinations.
• Treating of minor illness e.g. influenza, headaches, wounds care.
• Prevention of illness by early detection e.g. blood pressure monitoring and urine testing.
• Health education on drug addiction, tuberculosis, HIV/Aids, personal hygiene, sexually transmitted disease and family planning.

On completion of the course each student leaves thee Academy a well rounded individual health wise. Confidentiality of students is of utmost importance.
