Chrysalis Academy is set in the most prestigious, picturesque location with part of Table Mountain forming a scenic backdrop that provides an excellent setting for film and TV purposes in Cape Town.     

In addition, our premises have a variety of facilities, which we make available to community structures, sport clubs/groups, government departments, corporate, private functions and conferences. The Academy also offers dynamic accredited corporate training and teambuilding events, as well as exciting kiddies parties. 

We can provide you with the following facilities:

Big Hall:

Capacity: 200-250 people. (e.g. weddings, 21^st )

Capacity - cinema seated 500.

Small Hall:

Capacity: 100-120 people with the option of using the patio section.

Pool and Braai Area:

The pool is 25x15 meters with five swimming lanes. It has a large playing and parking area.

Sports Ground:

This facility caters for rugby, soccer, athletics etc. Own sporting equipment must be provided. The field can also be utilized for events e.g. fundraising events, birthdays etc. 

Bush Camp:

Our Bush camp is situated in a peacefully, relaxing outdoor environment. We have 5 huts which sleeps 60 people in total.

Hostels:

Each hostel has 10 rooms which can accommodate 100 people and two separate communal ablutions and a recreational hall. 

Tip: We are also next to horse riding farms, exciting hiking and cycling trails and also not so far away from lakes for canoeing and from the beach in Muizenberg, which is famous for surfing!
